The Flamingo Earrings shown have a Gold Weight of over 28 grams and are available, as shown, in 18K White Gold. (Yellow Gold can be ordered).
All of the gemstones used are 'diamond cut', full faceted quality stones chosen for their superior fire and brilliance. In this particular pair, there are over 5 carats of pink sapphires and nearly 1 carat of diamonds, including each flamingo eye set with a brilliant black diamond for contrast.
Fashioned for pierced ears, the style is a secure 'omega' type, with a hinged back. Since these earrings have both a strong gold content and an abundance of gemstones, they have been created with a 'droop resistant' soft ring attached to the back of the clasp. It surrounds the post when closed for both stability and comfort.
Each earring is bold in size, measuring about 1 1/2" long and over 1" wide. The earrings are three dimensional in design to simulate the look of layered flamingo feathers. Co-ordinating pieces available include an equally stunning pendant, a highly stylized ring and an exquisite bangle style bracelet with two gemstone laden flamingos.
These earrings are also available as a Special Order item in your choice of 18K White Gold or Yellow Gold in either pierced or clip style. They may vary slightly in the number of stones since each jewelry artist makes the final decision on the exact size, cut and placement for the gemstones. Any variation should be slight.
If specially ordered, exact cost will be determined at the time your order is placed and will be dependent on the then current gold and gemstone prices. The price will be offered for your approval, of course, and one half of the purchase price will be due at the time the order is placed with the balance being due before shipment.
Completion is estimated at 8-10 weeks.
